Nick Hatter - Co-Founder and CEO

The CEO, Nick Hatter, is a University of Southampton Computer Science graduate, a serial entrepreneur with 10+ years’ experience and a leading UK life coach trusted by doctors, psychologists, neuroscientists and celebrities. He is trained in neuro-linguistic programming, positive psychology, psychodynamics and solution-focused psychotherapy. He previously spent 18 months being mentored and coached in entrepreneurship at the University of Cambridge, as part of their Accelerate Cambridge programme. In 2013 he founded Giftgaming (a TechCrunch Startup Battlefield alumnus company) and raised £250,000. Nick is also author of The 7 Questions (a self-help book), due to be published in Jan 2022 by an imprint of Hachette, one of the ‘Big Five’ UK publishers (which will be promoting FDBK).

Jorge Requena - Co-Founder and CTO

The CTO, Jorge Requena, is a full-stack software engineer with 9+ years experience, who is highly experienced in app development. He graduated with a BSc in Software Engineering from the Duoc UC institute in Chile. Jorge knows how to build secure, high-scalable and fault-tolerant apps. He is currently using Google Firebase and Google Cloud for the FDBK servers – both of which are extremely capable of rapidly and easily handling several millions of users.

Steve Hopper - FDBK Ambassador

FDBK Ambassador, Steve Hopper, is an award-winning TV presenter, dating coach as well as an occasional host for SpeedDater.co.uk (where he speaks to 100s of singles each month). He has hosted shows on Sky, Freeview & Virgin Media, and has also worked for the likes of eToro, Belron, Legal & General, Delonghi, Specsavers, as well as various startups. Steve has also won various awards for his work in the Media industry, from international motor giants ‘Kia’, to a People’s Champion nomination, due to his weekly newspaper column. He also won ‘Radio Feature of the Year’. Not only did he run a successful business in video production, but he was also a lecturer of film at one of the UK’s leading adult education centres, Sussex Downs College, for six years.
